Moving House Planner: Countdown Checklist, Moving Budget & Packing Tracker (Excel + Google Sheets)

An Eseries Now AI Development Initiative · Powered by eportalnow.com

Plan your move one clear step at a time.

Before and after

• Before: sticky notes, forgotten bills, lost boxes and a budget that only exists in your head.
• After: a dated countdown, a budget that updates itself and every box numbered, packed and tracked.

What is inside

• Start Here: moving date, budget and a live panel (days to go, tasks done, money left, boxes packed).
• Countdown: 35 tasks from 10 weeks before to 4 weeks after, dated from your moving date, with overdue tasks in red.
• Moving Budget: 12 cost categories, planned vs actual, status and a chart.
• Expense Log: log each cost once and the budget updates itself.
• Mover Quotes: compare three quotes side by side, including what is and is not included.
• Packing: 100 numbered boxes by room, with fragile, unpack-priority, packed, loaded and delivered tracking.
• Change of Address: 18 who-to-tell items with do-by dates.
• After the Move: a first-week checklist and a short review.

Who it is for

Anyone moving home or flat, in any country, who wants the move organised in one place.

Format

• Excel workbook (.xlsx). Also works in Google Sheets: upload to Google Drive and open with Sheets.
• Formulas are built in: you fill the input cells, it does the adding up.
• Works with any currency and country. Sample rows are placeholders to overwrite.

Good to know

Notice periods and deposit rules vary by country and contract, so check yours. This is an organising tool: it does not predict costs and is not legal, tax, insurance or financial advice.
